ABOUT ME
Felipe Maximiliano Egaña Labrin was born in Santiago de Chile. He studied a degree in arts and music with a mention in transverse flute at the University of Chile. He continued his studies in early music with Wilbert Hazelzet at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, in the Netherlands. Subsequently, he completed his Master and Konzertexamen studies with the Marten Root at the University of Arts in Bremen in Germany.
Felipe Egaña has participated with numerous early music ensembles such as the "Bremen Baroque Orchestra", "The Bach Choir and Orchestra of the Netherlands", "Le concert d'Apollon", "The New World Baroque Orchestra", "The Netherlands Bach Society "and" La dolcezza". As a soloist he has participated under the leadind of Rio Terakado, Václav Luks, Veronika Skuplik, François Fernandez, Dmitry Sinkovky, Stéphanie Paulet, among others. He is a member of several chamber music ensembles such as "Les points cardinaux", "Cancrizans duo" and "Los Temperamentos". Along with the baroque orchestra "Nuevo Mundo", as a soloist, he took part in concert tours in Chile and Mexico. Projects like the "European Baroque Academy of Ambronay" under the direction of Sigiswald Kuijken led the flutist to play in different European countries. Felipe Egaña currently performs in international festivals and concert series in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Mexico and Chile.

Felipe Maximiliano Egaña Labrin nació en Santiago de Chile. Estudió licenciatura en artes y música con mención en flauta travesera en la Universidad de Chile. Continuó sus estudios de música antigua con el maestro Wilbert Hazelzet en el Conservatorio Real de La Haya, en Holanda. Posteriormente finalizó sus estudios de Máster y Konzertexamen con el mastro Marten Root en la Universidad de Artes de Bremen en Alemania.
Felipe Egaña ha participado con numerosos conjuntos de música antigua como la "Orquesta barroca de Bremen", "The Bach Choir and Orchestra of the Netherlands", "Le concert d'Apollon", "La orquesta barroca Nuevo Mundo", "The Netherlands Bach Society" y "La dolcezza". Como solista ha participado bajo la dirección de Rio Terakado, Václav Luks, Veronika Skuplik, François Fernandez, Dmitry Sinkovky, Stéphanie Paulet, entre otros. Es miembro de varios conjuntos de música de cámara como "Les points cardinaux", "Cancrizans duo" y "Los Temperamentos". Junto a la orquesta barroca "Nuevo Mundo", como solista, tomó parte en giras de conciertos en Chile y México. Proyectos como la "Academia Barroca Europea de Ambronay" bajo la dirección de Sigiswald Kuijken llevaron al flautista a tocar en diferentes países europeos. Actualmente Felipe Egaña actúa en festivales internacionales y series de conciertos en Alemania, Bélgica, Países Bajos, Francia, Italia, México y Chile.

Felipe Maximiliano Egaña Labrin wurde in Santiago de Chile geboren. Er studierte zunächst Kunst, Musik und Querflöte an der Universität von Chile. Es folgte ein Studium der Alten Musik bei Wilbert Hazelzet am Königlichen Konservatorium in Den Haag, Niederlande, und er beendete seine Ausbildung mit einem Master Studium und dem Konzertexamen bei Marten Root an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen, Deutschland.
Felipe Egaña konzertiert mit zahlreichen Ensembles der Alten Musik wie dem "Bremer Barockorchester", "The Bach Choir and Orchestra of the Netherland", "Le concert d'Apollon" , dem Barockorchester „Nuevo Mundo“, "The Netherlands Bach Society", "La dolcezza Barockorchester" unter der Leitung von Rio Terakado, Václav Luks, Veronika Skuplik, François Fernandez, Dmitry Sinkovky, Stéphanie Paulet, u.a. Er ist zudem aktives Mitglied in verschiedenen Kammermusikensembles wie "Les points cardinaux", "Cancrizans duo" und "Los Temperamentos". Mit dem Barockorchester „Nuevo Mundo“ spielte er bereits Kammermusik- und Orchesterkonzerte in Chile und Mexiko. Weiterhin führten Engagements wie die „Académie Baroque Européenne d'Ambronay“ unter der Leitung von Sigiswald Kuijken den Traversflötisten in viele Länder Europas. Im Rahmen von internationalen Festivals und Konzertreihen ist Felipe Egaña zu hören in Deutschland, Belgien, Niederlande, Frankreich, Italien, Mexiko und Chile.
